For the past few weeks scientists, programmers, and engineers from Hold True Recordings have been hard at work testing a new web radio station. The new radio station will include original extreme metal-oriented programming, live artist performances, and syndication of other well known extreme metal radio shows . DJ's from WUML's “The Stress Factor” (Thor's-days from 6-9pm on 91.5 FM) have already pledged their swords to the cause and will help fill the programming schedules. Hold True spokesperson The Poser Disposer has issued the following statement about Hold True's plunge into the world of radio media: “Having a radio station is just another step in our incremental war against the douche-baggery of pop-culture. Everything you hear on our station, even if it's just a fucking weather report, will be metal.”

Officials from Hold True Recordings have stated they believe the new radio station will be broadcasting regularly starting in mid April.

As 2009 prepares its self for death, RAZORMAZE fans far and wide are reflecting on the band's triumphs, and wondering what awaits in the cold, snow-shrouded future. Well, RAZORMAZE fans won't have to wonder long or hard cause we are just going to tell you: The "WINTER PLUNDERLAND TOUR" has been announced, and is slated to kick off shortly (see below for dates and locations). The tour will see RAZORMAZE shredding up venues and crowds throughout the east coast from New England to Florida. You can also expect to wear some new merch, stick some new stickers, and rock some even faster and heaver new tunes in the early weeks and months of 2010!! Another project Hold True Recordings is working on is story-boards for some music videos to complement RAZORMAZE's 2009 debut "The True Speed of Steel." So as you can see, there is a lot coming into view through the snow, and the only thing fans should be left wondering is to what extreme will RAZORMAZE take it in 2010.

Boston's metal warriors RAZORMAZE have unleashed their new album THE TRUE SPEED OF STEEL upon the world via HOLD TRUE RECORDINGS. On a personal note, I (Ethan) would like to take a moment and give praise and acknowledgment to the hard work and detication of our new webmaster, Kalen. It is with copious amounts of pleasure that Hold True Recordings announces the addition of the Central-Massachusetts Prog/Experimental Metal band, ANOMIA, into its family!! ANOMIA is scheduled to release their upcoming album, "ESM" July 10th (for shows and mail order, July 28th for digital and retail stores), and will be embarking on several U.S. tours throughout 2009 in support of the effort (imminent dates are listed below).

For those who are not yet familiar with ANOMIA, the sextuplet's sound is heavily progressive with experimental undertones. The band combines face-melting guitar sweeps, synths/ambient sounds, ball-stomping bass and drums, toped off with a wide range of monstrous vocals. ANOMIA's brand of face-crushing metal will surely appeal to fans of BTBAM, Job For a Cowboy, Psyopus, White Chapel, Carnifex, and Veil of Maya.

Regarding their new partnership with Hold True Recordings, ANOMIA has released the following statement:

"We are excited to announce that we have signed with Hold True Recordings to release our new album, 'ESM'. We have a tour planned for July/August that takes us down the east coast to promote this new cd.
